The evening will include a live, in-person event and a virtual stream to participate in the live auction and speakers.
The silent auction will take place the week leading up to the in-person event.
In our 29th consecutive year, we hope to exceed last year's fundraising total with a goal of $250,000.
BFK Event History
Bids for Kids started in 1995 as a way for at the time GE Leadership Programs, now the Wabtec LEAD Program, to help the local children of Erie and Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Since then, this event has grown from a simple company-wide event into an Erie community mainstay. Without the generosity of individuals, businesses, and our sponsors, we would not be able to make this event what it has become.
